Could Batman be saved?

By the looks of the new trailer out today, it at least looks like they are going to take a good swing at making a bearable Batman movie. Go and check it out.

You and your corporate cronies shouls stop hijacking our electoral process! Vote for John Totten's dad!

Posted by: mesh at July 29, 2004 02:00 PM

you should be embarassed you work at Home Depot, find another job!

Posted by: Teresa at July 29, 2004 02:28 PM

So I heard the other day about Home Depot giving the 'W' campaign 3.2 million.
Does it not bother you to work for a company that supports such a war/hate-monger as George W Bush?

Posted by: anony at July 29, 2004 02:40 PM

yuo are crazy for working at home depot. Bush is an evil man!! all thse people supporting george w bush are the traitors he is an baby killer!

Posted by: RockSista at July 29, 2004 02:41 PM

Home Depot is only looking for a contract. Too bad they gave them all to Halliburton

Posted by: Koi at July 29, 2004 03:29 PM

I did some digging around, and it only gets WORSE. Look at this list of top givers to that FASHIST group, the RNC:

Wal-Mart Stores - $1,159,000
National Auto Dealers Assn - $1,011,000
National Assn of Realtors - $989,800
United Parcel Service - $970,385
National Beer Wholesalers Assn - $934,500
National Assn of Home Builders - $925,500
SBC Communications - $898,394
Associated Builders & Contractors - $877,500
Credit Union National Assn - $773,588
American Bankers Assn - $695,668

The ONLY rational conclusion from this is that, not only should Crabby quit his job and stop supporting his family IMMEDIATELY, but we should all stop buying from Wal-Mart, buying cars, buying houses, sending mail, buying beer, building houses, using telephones, doing ANY home remodeling, or using any banks. ONLY THEN can we prevent the world from exploding..

THE MADNESS MUST STOP

Posted by: maphet at July 29, 2004 03:43 PM

Preach it Maphet! Down with Bush & with the Home Depot cronies!

Posted by: JosiahQ at July 29, 2004 03:47 PM

You people are truly looney. Calling GWB a Fashist is total bullsh. Who exactly do you think you are, Gods gift to the political problem? Maybe you should do a bit more research before you run your mouth again.

end

Posted by: SpH at July 29, 2004 10:07 PM

I must admit that I am not crazy about my job, but unless someone (one of you, not the government) can start supporting me and paying my mortgage and bills, I think that I am going to keep working there.

The offer is very open for anyone to pay my bills.

And RockSista, I thought that Bush was pro-life, not a "baby-killer" (pro-choice) as you described.

Posted by: crabby at July 30, 2004 07:00 AM

The ironic thing about it is that she probably supports Kerry...

Posted by: steele at July 30, 2004 09:07 AM

What's wrong with thinking you're God's gift to the political problem?

DOWN WITH THE FASHISTS

Posted by: maphet at July 30, 2004 09:52 AM

ya'll are just jelous cause the speech last night was perfect and america will know the john kerry! help is on the way!

John Kerry is a limp wristed commie -------, I'm only shopping at Home Depot from now on GO BUSH!!!!!! >

Posted by: jjason at July 30, 2004 11:44 AM

whoever runs this site is a drone!

Posted by: downwithbush!!! at July 30, 2004 03:46 PM

I editted jjason due to it being a bit out of line. I don't disagree with his premise just his way of saying it.

I love the people coming through, but if you are going to opine, keep it relatively civil. Or even comment on ideas rather than name-calling....hmmmmm there is an idea.

Posted by: crabby at July 30, 2004 05:43 PM

is craby the owner of this sight? you want to supress teh truth, free speech is part of america so deal with it!

Posted by: jjason at July 31, 2004 11:43 AM

Responses to all who post: (Warning I go juvenille)
Mesh: You're right alas he's not running...
Teresa: You should be embarrassed you're alive... Not sure what that means but it makes about as much sense as your comment...
Anony: Doesn't bother you that, you smell...
Rocksista: you spelled "Sister" wrong and I believe Crabby's got you beat. Pro-choice = pro killing babies...
KOI: Yeah, it is too bad... what?
Maphet: YOu're too cool for school.
Q: stop smokin crack
SPH: See mesh's post.
Crabby: Boom shaka attacka
Steele: You are the man of steele
Gokerry: go home Kerry's speech was the most hot air i've seen this side of a zeplin.
Downwithbush: I know the person who runs this site, he's no drone, he's a human, a drone would be more mechanical and talk like Mr Spell.

Frankly I find it funny that home depot both supports I think a lesbian/gay organization (at least i heard that back in the day and heard about a bunch of xtians boycotting them for that reason) and now they're dumping booco bucks on bush. OH well, I'll still shop at Lowes because its closer and in GA which has less sales tax than TN, which is where the closest HD is to me. Sorry bro. You know the show.

Posted by: holton at July 31, 2004 03:07 PM

I am the author of this site, and while I am all for free speech, I reserve the right to santize comments I think warrant it. JJason, you are more than welcome to continue posting ideas, statment, heck even name calling. But both sides of the debate get the same treatment. Vulgarity will be corrected.

Posted by: crabby at July 31, 2004 06:51 PM

i find your fascist anti-free speech a vulgarity and an insult to american, you are just like bush: brute exercise of power

Posted by: jjason at July 31, 2004 11:37 PM

Just because the owner sanatizes his own posts doesn't make him a facist, but it does mean he supports fascists in his support of Home Depot. I find it disturbing he would have a complete lack of moral qualms working for a company that supports Bush and ALSO supports the gay community, which apparently he has a problem with. Clearly he isn't thorough in practice, so don't expect fairness from him jjason

Posted by: Susan at July 31, 2004 11:39 PM

why oh why do I find blind narrowminded namecalling so freakin funny? at least there will be no lack of entertainment for me for ages to come.

Posted by: bobw at August 2, 2004 08:24 AM

Why does Crab always get all the fun comments?

Posted by: lynnp at August 2, 2004 11:07 AM

JJason and Susan, ok here it goes. First and foremost, if people enforcing rules of civility in their own respective domains is a sign of anti-speech fascism, then sign me up. Actually this is a huge pet peeve of mine. People get all pissed off when something is said or done in response to vulgarity/offensive opinions. They decry their loss of "free speech" when actually it is the other way around. Feel free to say whatever you want, but be prepared to deal with the consequences. In the end, I don't even understand why you are mad, jjason. I mean in the end, I really didn't change your message at all. I could have deleted it entirely, but rather I left the offensive language out and let you statement ride. Keep on coming back if you will, but chill out man.
