I know the topic of "what's a weblog" has been beaten to death, but I found this to be enlightening.

This is just in case anyone asks in 30 years when I am president: I am at work today, I am fulfilling my obligations. I will, however, probably be investigated for my intermittent use of this weblog. Some will claim I am just using my high level connections to have an internet existence of ease, avoiding my patriotic duty of creating a fully functional website. Others will say I am just going along with the crowd, blogging for the social acceptance it brings. Don't worry though, I will stop when posting begins to compete for my affections. In the meantime, the sporadic entries will continue. That is all.
