Constitution Party National Chairman Jim Clymer has entered the race against Spector and Hoeffel. Clymer is pro-life and is likely to take votes away from Spector.
The last poll (prior to Clymer entering the race) had Spector up by 12% over Hoeffel.

I don't think that Spector is going to make it and the people posting on baptistboard know it. In fact, that's their plan. They're willing to let a Democrat win in order to advance their pro-life/anti-abortion agenda.

Posted by: dorsano at May 25, 2004 08:50 PMAs a student of history, I can recall those old Dixiecrats of the Democratic party leaving that party in 1948 because of Truman's civil rights decisions (integrating the army in '47, for example). Guess what, Truman won that year's election just fine without them. I wonder when the Republican Party will figure that out...
