Concerning Same Sex Unions:

That is the issue I am working on. Getting those folks who normally do not vote in the primary to vote this year. If I can accomplish that task, I will defeat Marilyn, no question. Otherwise, it will be a challenge. Regardless, I intend to spend the next two years in DC.

I agree Bob - and I'm grateful your're willing to do so.
We also need more voters who recognize that their votes defend our Democracy and that they have a duty to serve this country by voting in both the primaries and the general elections.
How one goes about doing that, I haven't figured out yet.
