Movie Pitch: Fritos & Texa Pete
“Fritos and Texas Pete” Two down and out Karaoke guys in Austin, Texas who are friends get into a feud when one of them takes some business away from the other one, they pull a series of Karaoke themed pranks on one another, but then they have to team-up to throw a big-ass Karaoke party to raise money to save the recreation center where one of their ex-girlfriends works. Tagline: “You’ll Laugh until Your Heart Sings, and then you May just Cry a Little.” (or similar) Oh, and they eat Fritos covered with Texas Pete all the f'n time. Mickey Rourke and Edward James Olmos with long hair in their breakthrough comedic performances.
