Movie Pitch: Pipes
"Pipes" Stars Jack Black as a failed soccer star who moves back with his father (Danny Devito) and works as a plumber. After the first few months of working Black realizes that all the things that they have found clogged in peoples pipes are pretty interesting. So Black creates a website (TheClogBlog) showcasing all the odd shit that he and his father have found in other peoples pipes but keeping everyone's identities a secret. This becomes a major sensation the city of Pittsburgh and soon everyone calls them because they want to see their things on his website. This is great for their business but bad for the rival plumber (who was a former student of Devitos and is played by Will Ferrell) who decides to one up Black by finding crazier things (like pulling a baby out of pipe, and a Van Go Painting) as the fight escalates the city is having a major sewer problem due to everyone putting things in their pipes. With Black and Ferrell to busy competing Danny Devito decides to save the city himself eventually getting stuck in the cities sewer system and Black and Ferrell fight to see who gets there first. Eventually working together to save Devito and the city.
